Tunisia: ministerial council approves draft presidential decrees

Prime minister Najla Bouden headed the Ministerial Council this morning, Thursday, March 31, 2022, at the Government Palace in Kasbah. The Council of Ministers approved the following draft presidential decrees:

  • Draft decree approving a convention on judicial cooperation in criminal matters, signed on December 15, 2021, between the government of the Republic of Tunisia and the government of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria.
  • 8 draft presidential decrees setting the territorial boundaries of the following municipalities: Dar Chaabane Fehri of the governorate of Nabeul, Bouficha of the governorate of Sousse, El Hancha and Menzel Chaker of the governorate of Sfax, Zelba, El Hakaima, Melloulech and El Jem of the governorate of Mahdia.
  • Draft presidential decree altering the limits of the irrigated public domain at El Mahara 2 of the delegation of El Amra in the governorate of Sfax.
  • Draft presidential decree increasing decree n° 89-1233 of August 31, 1989, on the precise organization of the regional delegation for agricultural development in Sidi Bouzid.
  • Draft presidential decree expanding the provisions of decree no. 2010-462 of March 15, 2010, relating to special allocations assigned to the university hospital medical staff.
  • Draft presidential decree extending the provisions of decree no. 2010-463 of March 15, 2010, connecting to special allocations for hospital doctors.
  • Draft presidential decree extending the provisions of decree no. 2010-464 of March 15, 2010, linking to special allocations allocated to the medical staff of hospitals.
  • A draft presidential decree establishing a management unit according to the goals to carry out the construction projects of the Higher Institute of Applied Sciences in Human Sciences, the Higher Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology and the Language Village in Mahdia, and fixing their organization and operating methods.
