A Chinese military aircraft arriving from Hong Kong and packed with medical equipment landed on Wednesday morning in Tunis.
The pieces of equipment are a donation from the Chinese Ministry of Defence to the National Defence Department as part of the strengthening the military health department’s faculty to fight coronavirus.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Defence, the aid consists of surgical and protective masks, gloves, protective visors, protective clothing for health personnel as well as resuscitation equipment and infrared thermometers for remote temperature measurement.
The donation ceremony took place in the presence of the Director-General of Military Health, Mustapha Ferjani.
