Tunisia-Ministry of Education calls on temporary teachers to sign new contracts

The Ministry of Education has urged substitute teachers to visit the relevant regional delegations for the purpose of signing new employment contracts, indicating a salary increase effective from September 2023.

According to the ministry, the updated contracts, reflecting a raise in the earnings of substitute teachers from 750 dinars per month to 1,250 dinars, have been dispatched to the regional education delegations.

The ministry underscores its commitment to a regularization formula that includes all substitute teachers, guided by principles of equity, merit, and quality. Technical committees are set to reconvene to scrutinize the files of substitute teachers in secondary education, considering the specifics of each subject, as reported by Tap.
