The Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on the Tunisian community in Ukraine to remain “vigilant” and keep in touch with Tunisian embassies in Moscow and Warsaw to update personal and consular data. Tunisian expatriates are firmly urged to exercise “increased caution and vigilance” when travelling so as “to avoid risk areas” and comply with instructions given by authorities of the country of residence, the Foreign Affairs Ministry said in a press release.
The ministry urges Tunisian nationals, particularly those living in areas where tension is heightened, or those willing to depart Ukraine to take all required measures, adding that it is still possible to fly back to Tunisia. The ministry furthermore urges Tunisian citizens to delay their travel to Ukraine until further notice, when the situation improves.
