Tunisia-Ministry of health Extends COVID-19 Curfew Until December 30

The Ministry of Health modified the date of application of the curfew, in its press release on preventive measures against the coronavirus, and stated that the curfew remains in effect from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. from December 7 to December 30, 2020.

Restrictions on cafes and restaurants, social distancing measures and a ban on mass events, including trade fairs, conferences and forums, will remain in effect.

Meanwhile, gathering in parties and funerals will be limited to 30 people in addition to the obligations of wearing masks in all spaces. Governors are urged to observe the morning of these measures locally and regionally.

The department likewise indicated amending the special procedures for arrivals to Tunisia, including the procedures for irregular journeys and short stays that do not pass five days, with the compulsory presentation of a negative RT PCR analysis that does not exceed 72 hours, taking into account the exceptional cases by the Quarantine Committee of the Ministry of Health.
