Tunisia – Ministry of Health is launching a bacterial diarrhea alert

The Ministry of Health published, this Saturday, a statement, to disclose the recording of multiple cases of diarrhea, in particular, infantile, due to a bacteria called”Shigella Sonei”.

The ministry specifies, in its press release, that this disease is extremely infectious, and its prevention goes through several gestures, including hand hygiene, toilet disinfection, use of safe drinking water, or, failing that, Boil water to consume, compliance with hygiene rules in the preparation of meals, elimination of baby layers according to the rules of use, avoid the pool, good treatment of household waste.

The Ministry of Health calls on parents to take their ill children to consult the doctor in case of diarrhea.
