The Ministry of Health announced that all passengers arriving from a foreign country, where the new strain of the coronavirus has not been detected, must confirm a negative PCR test made less than 72 hours.
The latter will consequently be subjected to a mandatory 14-day of self-Quarantine, the ministry said, adding that people desiring to reduce this period can undergo, at their expense, another PCR test in the 7th day of quarantine.
On the other hand, people arriving from a foreign nation, where the new strain of the coronavirus has been identified, and whose departure took place before the suspension of flights to and from these countries or benefiting from a special authorization, must prove a negative PCR test, carried out less than 72 hours before the date of registration.
They must similarly perform a TDR-Antigen test upon arrival. If the test is negative they will be subjected to a mandatory 14-days of self-isolation and if it’s positive, they will be sent to one of the mandatory containment centres in the country.
