The doctor in question had issued a distress call to health authorities, civil society and citizens to provide ventilators to the resuscitation unit at Kébili hospital.

But not having obtained the desired reaction, the doctor had taken the initiative to contact a private company to buy three respirators and issued a personal guarantee check to ensure the arrival of the necessary devices during this period of the Covid pandemic. 19.

Romdhani called Dr Ben Mbarek’s action “noble” and assured that the ministry does not agree to place such a burden on the shoulders of medical and paramedical executives.

Dr. Ben Mbarek’s gesture certainly did not leave you indifferent. Activists on Facebook, had launched a fundraising campaign, for the payment of the guarantee check of 180 thousand dinars that the resuscitator had personally advanced.
