The Ministry of Interior stated that as part of support and help to the efforts of the Ministry of Education to secure educational establishments and deal with all cheating attempts and different protests which could harm the smooth running of national exams such as the baccalaureate exams, the agents and executives of the Criminal Affairs Sub-Department of the Judicial Police Department in Al-Gorjani, in coordination with the Public Prosecutor’s Office, succeeded today identify and apprehend an admin of the “Level BAC” page, who was active on the social networking site Facebook and who sought to help certain candidates in their attempts to cheat during the baccalaureate exams.
The ministry also added that various other security units, after coordination with the Public Prosecutor’s Office, were able to arrest several people because they had assisted some candidates cheat by employing headphones and thwarted all attempts promptly.
It confirmed that the various security units continue their efforts in permanent coordination with the Public Prosecutor’s Office and the services of the Ministry of Education, to arrest those responsible for cheating attempts of all kinds, disclose the supervisors of the suspicious pages, and confront, by all legal means, anyone who dares to harm the credibility of the national exams.
