Tunisia – Ministry of Justice: Dismissed magistrates are subject to several legal proceedings

The Ministry of Justice has revealed that the dismissed magistrates are the subject of no less than 109 business cases, which have been transferred to the financial and anti-terrorism poles.

The ministry has listed the issues that target dismissed judges, such as financial embezzlement, corruption, money laundering, and cases relating to terrorism such as coverage of people and terrorist networks, and even sexual harassment.

The ministry stated that the offices of these magistrates are under the inventory procedure, which does not prevent the ordinary prosecution of business and files there
