Tunisia-Ministry of Transport – Precipitation: Launch of monitoring unit

The Ministry of Transport reported, this Tuesday, December 19, 2023, the launch of a monitoring unit following bulletins from the National Institute of Meteorology (INM) which anticipate significant rainfall and a change in weather conditions.

This unit was responsible for monitoring and taking exceptional measures to secure the fluidity of traffic on the roads as well as the continuity of air and maritime navigation activity and to interfere in the event of an emergency, according to the same source.
