Tunisia – Mnihla: Pumping of rainwater from several houses

Municipal authorities and Infrastructure Services in Al-Mnihla took action on Monday as part of the Local Disaster Response Committee’s efforts to drain substantial quantities of water that had amassed in the Ardh Al-Chihi region following the latest rains.

This intervention was prompted by distress calls from several residents in the neighbourhood reporting water infiltration into houses and accumulation in the roads, notably along street 8014.

Delegation authorities issued a public advisory urging all citizens to exert caution until municipal services can expedite the drainage of the significant water accumulations in various areas of the region. This highlights the collaborative efforts to address and mitigate the impact of adverse weather conditions on local communities.
