The professional group of modern bakeries under the Confederation of Citizen Enterprises of Tunisia (CONECT) has decided to start a sit-in from Monday, August 21, 2023, in front of the headquarters of the Ministry of Trade and Export Development.
According to a press release published Thursday, the group clarified that this decision comes following the non-satisfaction by the ministry of its “urgent request” linking to the resumption of the supply of semolina and flour since August 7, 2023, the date of the holding a meeting between the heads of the ministerial department and the representatives of the bakery sector.
