During a hearing of the Tunisian Foreign Affairs Committee in Parliament on Monday, April 5, 2021, Transport Minister Moez Chakchouk confirmed the Tunisair currently has approximately 7 aircraft in operation.
Chakchouk stated the development of a special program to give about 775 return flights with nearly 120,000 seats, during the period July 1 to August 1, 2021.
He added that during the second period, from August 12 until September 6, 2021, 630 flights will be programmed with around 98 thousand seats, bringing the number of flights between July and September to 1,405 shuttles, indicating the commencement of promotional campaigns and reductions in according to the weight of the luggage of Tunisians coming from abroad.
