Tunisia- Moez Chakchouk: Tunisair’s debts reached 955 million dinars

During a hearing in front of the Administrative Reform Commission in Parliament Transport Minister Moez Chakchouk announced that Tunisair’s debts have reached 955 million dinars.

Chakchouk explained that “509 million dinars are debts to foreign banks, this amount was employed for the acquisition of planes in 2014.” “446 million dinars are debts to local banks. “he added.

Chakchouk said, nonetheless, “there is no question of ceding Tunisair even partially.”
