Tunisia-Mohamed Abbou: Activation of Article 80 is not a coup d’etat

Speaking to Shems FM, Mohamed Abbou announced that the implementation of a constitutional text can in no way be described as a coup d’etat. He evoked that article 80 was the basis of several decisions taken under the presidency of Béji Caid Essebsi. Nevertheless, the suspension of the work of the parliament gives rise to specific legal questions, in particular in the absence of the Constitutional Court, he added,
