Minister of Tourism, Mohamed Ali Toumi firmly denied, on Friday, June 26, 2020, circulating information according to which he would have taken advantage of his post to secure advantages for the benefit of his own travel agency, by bringing 11 000 Libyans during the imposed lockdown in a deal estimated at 20 MTD.
Speaking to Jawhara FM, the minister stated that before swearing the oath, he had forsaken his position as head of his travel agency, precisely, on February 25, 2020.
Toumi has further guaranteed that he will file a complaint against the newspaper which published this baseless information.
