Tunisia-Mohamed Ammar: Sfaxien businessman funded Ennahdha protest

Speaking on Attesia TV, Democratic bloc MP Mohamed Ammar said that a Sfaxien businessman assisted in financing Ennahdha demonstration which was at Avenue Mohamed V.

He specified that this businessman is the head of a group of poultry products and that these associates are affiliated with the Islamist party, adding that the latter recently joined in the financing Ennahdha march by providing a sum of money to participants.

He pointed out that the Islamist party conveyed a report to the Qatari authorities in order to block him from entering the country claiming that he is financed by the United Arab Emirates and that he professes a threat to Qatar.
