The Head of the Neonatal Resuscitation Department at the Tunis Military Hospital and President of the Tunisian Pediatric Association, Mohamed Douagi vigorously criticized the performance of the scientific committee in its against the pandemic, calling it inadequate.

He called on the committee to resign, pointing the finger at its failure to protect children in the fight against the Coronavirus. The scientific committee did not completely fulfil its mission and did not show the exact number of pregnant women who died from the Coronavirus.

This category has been very affected by the Covid-19, he said. Mohamed Douagi further indicated that the committee is receiving threats and being pressured not to take the required decisions.
