The President of the Pediatric Association, Dr. Mohamed Douagi confirmed that between 10 and 15 children were admitted to hospital institutions after testing positive for COVID-19.
In a statement to El Watania 1, he revealed that 3 children were in critical condition until yesterday, indicating that they passed the danger stage today.
Dr. Douagi also talking about recording 4 deaths among children since the start of the pandemic.
He likewise stated that the rate of children prompting the transmission of infection does not exceed 5%, indicating that between 1000 and 1200 children have been infected since the beginning of the pandemic.
