Ennahdha Member Mohamed Goumani has today admitted the existence of the lobbying contract, involving the Islamist party, however, this contract was not concluded by one of the party’s legal representatives. Likewise, Ennahdha has not carried any funds abroad, he said, adding that the party is ready for any legal action resulting from this matter.
The party has not broken the law and inquiries will reveal who is behind the contract, Goumani said. In the same vein, he called on the President of the Republic, Kais Saied to track down those implicated in corruption cases.
