Tunisia-Mohamed Goumani: Ennahdha is not affected by legislative elections for these reasons

Speaking to the national radio, Ennahdha member Mohamed Goumani said that his party demands early legislative elections.

He revealed that the party will boycott the next electoral elections on December 17, 2022, while rejecting the unilateral project of the president of the republic Kais Saïed who developed the electoral calendar in the absence of consultations with the parties concerned.

“The party must hold its 11th congress and revise its policies in order to evaluate the last decade. Other than that, we do not have confidence in the ISIE, reasons why we will not partake in the elections, “he said, making it known that Saïed has drawn up a tailor-made electoral law.
