Tunisia-Mohamed Trabelsi gives details on Social aids

Minister of Social Affairs, Mohamed Trabelsi, gave, during his intervention at parliament, the details of all the aid that his ministry has paid for the benefit of social layers in need or affected by the COVID-19 crisis. Below are the details of the granted aids:

  • Aid paid to those who lost their jobs as a result of total containment affected 376,413 workers until September 24 and cost 75,280,600 million dinars.
  • Aid disbursed for the benefit of license holders and their employees who have suffered the cessation of their activity due to confinement up to 200 dinars. Until August 31, this aid reached 110,000 beneficiaries and cost 22 million dinars.
  • There are still 2,200 patent holders and 6,000 business cardholders who will also be helped during the month of October.
  • For retirees whose pensions are lower than 200 dinars have been helped by a temporary bonus of 100 dinars while waiting to increase their pensions to a minimum of 180 dinars.
