Machrouu Tounes party chairman Mohsen Marzouk has proposed the creation of a higher council for Tunisian diplomacy.
He explained that this council would serve as a space in which the diplomatic decision is taken “far from the confusion observed in recent years in the position taken by Tunisia regarding events and developments at the international level”.
Marzouk suggested that the council be made up of diplomacy experts, foreign ministers, former ambassadors and businessmen with foreign relations as well as skills among Tunisians abroad.
“I have proposed this to the President of the Republic, Kais Saied, since his inauguration,” he told Shems FM.
