Tunisia-Mohsen Marzouk: The President of the Republic acts as a candidate for the elections

Speaking to Shems FM, President of” Machrouu Tounes,” Mohsen Marzouk accused president Kais Saied of popularism.

Commenting on the head of the state comments on capital punishment, he pointed out that a  true president will not give Facebook opinions but actual acts. He urged him to withdraw treaties signed on not applying the death penalty during the Troika area. He indicated that the position of the president of the republic today is empty, stressing that Saied does not act on the grounds that he is president of the republic and president of all Tunisians, but rather is acting as a nominee for the elections. The same source added that Saied desires to acquire the position of PM, party president and wants to satisfy Facebook users.

He also stressed that the true leadership is to present a future vision and results to the people you govern, such as establishing a successful security policy approach to avoid the crimes that have become dominated the Tunisian streets.

He explained that, since taking office, the President of the Republic has not presented any significant results to the Tunisian people, saying… Everyone elected to a position is responsible for resolving issues.
