Tunisia-Monastir: Bookings rates reach 85% for the End-of-Year celebrations

Booking rates in local hotels in the governorate of Monastir on the festive occasion of the End-of-Year celebration have reached a staggering number of 85% till Monday, said local tourism commissioner Fawaz Ben Halima.
The prime rate of overnight stays carefully recorded an increment of 16.6%, surpassing 3 million from the commencement of the year until December 20.

Furthermore, tourist arrivals fired up to 16.3% during the same period to 582,535 with French and Russian numbers up 12.9% and 17.4% respectively, he added. The region further embraced the arrival of 35 thousand Algerian tourists between January 1 and December 20, 2019.

For the home market, visitor motion has grown by 8.9% in Monastir with the arrival of 194,000 Tunisians who explored the region and spent 585,000 nights there,
