Tunisia-Monastir: Extension of the curfew and isolation of seniors

In accordance with the recommendations of the regional commission for the fight against disasters, the governor of Monastir has elected to prolong the curfew from this Friday, October 16 until the 30 of the current month.

Isolation has also been decided for citizens aged between 65 and 75 and those experiencing from chronic diseases.

The activities of the weekly markets prevail suspended for two weeks, in addition to the extension of the closure of the Moorish baths, bars and nightclubs.

On the other hand, the governor emphasised on the necessity to rigorously control the application of the sanitary protocol in hotels, cafes, restaurants and tea rooms.
