Tunisia-Monastir records highest daily spike with 107 new COVID-19 cases

107 new local infections were identified in Monastir, consequently bringing the number of confirmed cases to 1177, in which 1044  are active cases while 127  recovered, regional director of health, Hammouda El Babba announced.

The infections are distributed as follow:

  • Delegation of Monastir:37 cases
  • Delegation of Tabulbah: 13 cases
  • Bekalta : 1 case
  • Jemmel;2 case
  • Ksar Hellal:8 cases
  • Qusaybat-al-Madyun :2 case
  • Moknine:2 cases
  • Sahlin : 5 cases
  • Ouardanine:18 cases
  • Bouhjar Lamta Sayada: 1 case
  • 17 unidentified cases

The same source pointed out that 3127 are currently in self-isolation while 66 people are placed in compulsory quarantine.
