Tunisia-Monastir: Three arrest warrants against security agents

 
The investigating judge of the Court of First Instance of Monastir issued, on Tuesday, three arrest warrants, against three law enforcement agents, for embezzlement of people by employing violence and threat of weapons as well as for theft using the specifics of a function.
 
Among them, the heads of the Skanes and Ouardanine security posts. Three other people implicated, including a law enforcement officer, were freed.
In a statement to the Tap, the spokesman for the courts of Monastir and Mahdia, Farid Ben Jha, explained that the security agents did not deny the facts. They explained that they had received news that an illegal operation to convert currency into local currency was going to take place in a cafe.
