Tunisia-Monastir: UTICA and Hotel Federation reject imposition of general lockdown

The regional disaster relief commission yesterday suggested at a meeting in the governorate the imposition of a 10-day general lockdown in order to curb the spread of COVID-19.
UTICA head Samir Majoul, the vice-president of the federation of the hotel industry, Jalel Henchiri as well as the president of the regional federation of the hotel, Slim Dimassi refused this proposal considering that the citizens must adapt and live with the coronavirus.
UTICA President recalled that the government has failed to keep its old vows to support small businesses that have been hit hard by the Covid-19 crisis
