Speaking to Arabi 21, former President of the Republic Moncef Marzouki stated that Tunisia’s negotiations with the IMF have failed. He revealed that the country will soon declare its bankruptcy stating that this will speed up the end of the “coup”.
Marzouki, in the same context, called on the army, the presidential security and the national security forces to interfere to put the Head of State behind bars. “Saied must appear in court in a fair and public trial. Thereafter, Parliament will return to designate a president and organize legislative and presidential elections in accordance with the Constitution,” he added.
