Tunisia-Moncef Marzouki calls for the resumption of Parliament’s activities

Former President of the Republic Moncef Marzouki called for the resumption of activities of the House of People’s Representatives. Evoking that several parties were against the house speaker, Marzouki thus placed the emphasis on the deputies who must be, according to him, in jail.

“Nevertheless, these deputies were elected by the people. Only the people can replace them within the framework of free and fair elections or following early elections. The faults perpetrated under the dome of Parliament do not justify those of a dictator, ”he said.
