Tunisia-Moncef Marzouki “The gates of hell opened after the coup”

The former President of the Republic, Mohamed Moncef Marzouki, said in a video broadcast that “those who joined the coup and assumed that the sky would open its doors, will discover that the gates of economic hell have been opened ”.

He emphasised that Tunisia is confronting a worsening economic crisis, believing that the state is bankrupt given the accumulated debts and unemployment. “Maybe the Lebanese model will be our destiny,” he continued.
