The official spokesperson for the Sousse 2 first instance court, Marwa Brahem, said that a citizen presented himself at the duty centre of the Hammam Sousse police station on Saturday, June 1 to report that his brother’s home, former Interim president, Moncef Marzouki, had been robbed by unknown persons.
Initial findings indicated that the house, located in the El Kantaoui area, had been burglarized employing wire mesh and computer hacking, entering through the back door of the kitchen and taking an old television and a quantity of copper.
Brahem added in a press statement that the identity of the perpetrators is still unknown, emphasising that the technical and scientific police have been mobilized to take fingerprints, if required while awaiting receipt of their results.
