Tunisia-Mongi Rahoui: New decisions will likely be announced on December 17

Speaking to Diwan FM, independent  MP Mongi Rahoui said that it is anticipated that the President of the Republic Kais Saied will declare new decisions on December 17 on the occasion of the celebration of the anniversary of the Tunisian Revolution, in particular in connection to the setting of deadlines to be respected in matters of electoral violations.
He recollected that he had beforehand predicted the announcement of a presidential decree on exceptional measures after the suspension of the work of Parliament. Mongi Rahoui further emphasised that the head of state should take this chance to address certain issues, including Tunisian diplomacy.
He felt that Tunisia should now broaden its circle of relationships and reflect on the formation of other economic partnerships, in particular with China.
