Tunisia: More than 10,000 fines for not wearing a mask in one week

The Ministry of the Interior has declared the results of the offences documented since the entry into force of the curfew, on January 13, 2022, and until January 20. During this period, security units apprehended 51 people for curfew violations and inflicted 10,833 fines for non-compliance with wearing protective masks.

 

The press release published on Saturday, January 22, 2022 adds that 2,604 curfew violations have been registered, 4,763 driving licenses and 4,847 registration cards have been removed and 54 cars have been seized in the same context.

On the other hand, 92 shops were closed and 1876 reports were written for non-compliance with hygiene rules.
