According to the General Director of Examinations in the Ministry of Education Omar Welbani. 40.446 students will be passing The Tunisian Baccalauréat retests today . The examinations will be carried out from the 2nd of July till the 5th. Most of the examinees belong to the division of Economics Management, literature and, to a lesser extent, sport.
The control session is deemed exceptional since students are set to choose and pass subjects in which they didn’t score a passing grade. The Ministry of Education approves the best grade out of the two sessions.
Albani estimated that the number of students that will pass the retest will be around 14 thousand students. Moreover, he invited students to learn of the mistakes of the 680 students who were caught cheating.
Welbani added that students are ought to not bring smartphones and electronic devices if they don’t want their exams to be cancelled for fraud charges.
