The Presidency of the Government announced on Thursday the appointment of Mouna Mtibaa as the Managing Director of Agence Tunis Afrique. She succeeds Rachid Kechana who was removed from office in December 2019.
Graduated from Institute of Press and Information Sciences “IPSI “(class of 1987) Mouna Mtibaa spent twenty years of her career at TAP as a journalist she was then promoted to editorial director. She was later appointed as the director of external relations and training before joining the Media Assistance Program in Tunisia (PAMT) as Deputy Director in charge of training since 2018.
Mouna Mtibaa is the second woman to lead TAP after Hamida Bour, current director of IPSI.
