Tunisia-MP Mohamed Ali reveals details of initiative to improve quality of media content [Declaration]

Speaking to Tunisie Numérique, MP of the Sovereign National Line Mohamed Ali examined the parliamentary initiative relating to the creation of a Fund to support the independence and quality of media content, clarifying that this proposal was put forward due to the general assessment of the media landscape.

The MP pointed the finger at television programs broadcast during  Ramadan, believing that comments from viewers have been, overall, negative for years.

“This Fund will assist support the ability of industry professionals to produce quality media content. It will also permit all those who lack resources to produce content reflecting the history of the country,” he explained.
