Tunisia-MP Mongi Rahoui announces his resignation from the Democratic bloc

MP  Mongi Rahoui announced, this Sunday, that he deposited in Parliament office his resignation from the Democratic bloc. He revealed that from the commencement, there was an understanding to maintain the freedom of vote within this block, nevertheless the positions and policies displayed by the block no longer correspond with its political line.

He added that he is not running a solo campaign for the 2024 elections, however, e feels it is his duty to fulfil his promises to his constituents.

Rahoui added that there is the possibility of integrating another parliamentary bloc while it is being formed, but he assured that the question does not arise at the moment.
