Tunisia-MPs threaten to withdraw confidence from Industry minister and government ,send urgently correspondence to PM Mechichi

 

President of the Committee on Rights and Freedoms in the  House of People’s Representatives “HPR” Samah Damq stressed that an urgent correspondence will be sent to prime minister Hichem Mechichi to take back the decision of the Industry ministry to use plastic bags in packaging concrete.

The MP said that the minister of local affairs and environment answers were not clear during today hearing, indicating that several MPs threatened to withdraw confidence from the minister of industry and the government if the decision continues to be adopted.

The same source expressed that the data obtained by the committee indicates that the Ministry of Industry continues to use plastic bags, which is considered a dangerous decision criminalizing the right of future generations.
