Despite signing an agreement, municipal officials in Tunis decide to continue their strikes.
The municipal agents are determined to continue their strike despite the agreement signed last night with the General Federation of Municipal workers, affirmed Tunisi mayor Souad Abderrahim in a declaration to Mosaique FM.She explained that the municipality acknowledged all the workers’ requests including an increase in fares of night shifts. she indicated that their demands to a bonus of 300 dinars were dismissed for financial reasons.
Souad Abderrahim said that the municipality of Tunis was surprised to discover that the strike was proceeding despite the municipal positive response fro most of their demands.
