Tunisia-Nabeul: Citizens complain about high prices of clothes and find refuge in thrift stores (Statements)

Less than a week before the Eid El Fitr festival, observing the end of the holy month of Ramadan, there are huge masses in clothing and shoe shops in the city of Nabeul. But, the prices of certain items are inaccessible for many budgets.

Many citizens, interviewed this Saturday, April 6, 2024, by the Tunisie Numérique correspondent, complain about the rise in prices.

This is the case of a woman who opted for the thrift store market in the face of high prices. “For Eid clothing, today we cannot have several pieces. It’s truly expensive. I cannot afford to buy at these prices,” says another citizen who also complains about the high prices.
