Tunisia-Nabeul: Seizure of several quantities of food unfit for consumption

During a vast inspection campaign conducted by economic control agents in several delegations in Nabeul, 4 tons and 979 kg of foodstuffs (turmeric, chickpeas, cocoa, oats, beans, etc.) were seized.

In addition, 630 kilograms of cocoa were seized, due to the expiration of their validity period for consumption. These goods were found in a wholesale food store. Legal proceedings have been taken against several merchants, reports Tunisie Numérique ‘s correspondent in the region.
