Tunisia-Nabil Hajji: Saïed was not brave enough to announce the dissolution of the parliament

Frozen MP  Nabil Hajji, was surprised that the President of the Republic, Kaïs Saïed, did not openly declare the dissolution of the parliament, as he had pledged himself. He added that maintaining the parliament and its activities frozen and that it will not meet again, is equivalent to its disbandment, except that the president did not have the courage to say so.

Hajji wondered what would have deterred Saïed from making this statement, confirming that it was not a concern to respect the constitution, and wondered if it was not a reason of “state sovereignty”, in allusion to international pressures.
