Democratic current leader Nabil Hajji said that the President of the Republic, Kais Saied, filed a complaint against the secretary general of the party, Ghazi Chaouachi, while the Minister of Justice filed two others against him.
Hajji told a private radio station, that they will not let go of their fight to secure the fundamental freedoms of Tunisians and that they will never keep silent in the face of the various overruns of the government.
“We will not remain silent (…) We are not afraid of jails… We are used to prisons and if the Minister of Justice desires to abuse us, she can do it.” he assured.
