Tunisia- Nabil Karoui slips reproaches under a call for national unity

“All Tunisians must unite around the slogan of national unity,” Qalb Tounes party president Nabil Karoui posted on his official page on Monday (September 21).

A call for unity which, it seems, hides a good number of reproaches addressed to the two heads of the executive power, and even to certain high-ranking officials.

Stressing the seriousness of the health situation linked to the spread of the Coronavirus in the country, the party leader pointed out those responsible for the decision to open the Tunisian borders on June 27 and the obedience of those responsible to the diktats of certain ambassadors for change the country’s ranking from red to green in a few days.

Karoui also denounced “the lobbies of certain travel agencies” which allowed the entry of foreign tourists without carrying out the necessary analyzes.

The politician, in the same context asked the question that everyone is asking “Where have the funds collected to fight against the Coronavirus gone?” “.
