Tunisia-Naoufel Amira: Large laboratories decline to sell drugs to the central pharmacy
Speaking to Tunisie Numérique, director of the private pharmacy owners’ union Naoufel Amira announced that the central pharmacy is now struggling to repay its creditors.“At first we assumed it was a simple mishap because the central pharmacy is known to be solvent, however since 2016 the situation has begun to decline seriously,” he added.
It is consequently no longer able to play its role, particularly to provide drugs to pharmacies, said Amira, indicating that the large international laboratories today decline to deal with the central pharmacy because it is unable to pay its debts, inmore than the fact that Tunisia represents a very small market.
