Tunisia – National Guard thwarts 23 illegal migration attempts in one night

The official page of the National Guard, on social networks, reported that the maritime guard services of the Sfax region succeeded, in one night, thanks to an extensive security campaign, in thwarting 23 migration attempts towards the Italian coasts, and the interception of 349 migrants, including 114 Tunisians.

This campaign likewise led to the seizure of 20 metal boats, between Sfax and Mahdia, and multiple buoys, intended to be employed during migration crossings, as well as a large sum of money, in local currency.
