Tunisia – Nearly 300 people positive for COVID-19 in Messaâdine prison

The regional health director of Sousse declared this Tuesday, during a press conference held at the headquarters of the governorate, that a covid cluster was reported inside the prison of Messaâdine, with 292 cases of infections between detainees and staff reported 

The same source assured that this outbreak has been triggered since June 17, when approximately thirty cases were discovered and this after the arrival of detainees transported from Kairouan prison.
